SINTEF Energy Research - Developer & Researcher
2020 - present

Project leader on 'Connecting SHOP' - developing RESTful API to ease clients use of SHOP, short term hydropower scheduling software (server written in C++/python). Used FastAPI, set up CI/CD, build pipeline on Azure and github actions.
The Norwegian Meteorological Institute - Developer / Data Engineer
2018 - 2020

Lead developer and data engineer, engineered their next generation distributed database backend and an API for reading and writing data efficiently. Used a combination of Cassandra and CockroachDB. Written in golang, using gRPC and s2geometry. Deployed on k8s. Integrated with gitlab dev-ops (CI/CD).

Canon-RAW Image Decoding

Processing RAW image files from my Canon. Involves decoding from Huffman coded difference values.

Back propagation from scratch

Implementing a Neural-Net class in C++ with back propagation. Also visualizing the learning in real time using OpenGL.
